Patience

Patience is not one of my strong sides... I quickly realised it would take a long time to finish off the cushion covers and when I came across these two covers for sale on Ebay at a bargain of £8 it was too easy to reach for the creditcard...

They just need a little tlc, some new buttons and some minor repair work. I am still knitting away on my own cover, I just don't need to rush it!

Note the spring sun!

  1. (Okay, let's try this again!!)
I love the pillowcase covers and am most impressed that you've been knitting them! Funnily enough, I found a pattern for almost the identical cover, but I think I used the wrong kind of wool. (If you're interested I'll send you the book because it has a lot of really quite nice household knitted projects that might be of interest to you.) Right now, I'm knitting (another) jumper, having bought some really cheap wool in the post-Xmas sales.
I'm looking forward to seeing the cushions adorning the new furniture in your new flat!
    Take care,
    Sarah

  2. Oh, Sarah! I wish I could say I knitted them... No, these two were bought, but I AM knitting on another cover... :-)

I would love to see the book! Maybe I can find it over here so you don't have to send it? Send me the name of it and I will have a look!

  3. Kule trekk da! Det er så fint med puter med knapper på, gjerne de som er strikket med tykt garn! Da skulle man ønske man kunne strikke, så du er heldig, jeg tipper det du lagde ble finere da ;)
